Assistant Manager – Contracts
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day activities related to tendering and contracting under the supervision of the General Manager – Contracts while ensuring compliance with Government Financial Rules (GFR).
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Tender & Contract Management
- Prepare and vet tender documents, contracts, and work orders.
- Ensure contractual provisions align with institutional requirements and compliance standards.
- Assist senior management in contract planning and execution.
E-Tendering Coordination
- Coordinate with user departments for E-Tendering processes.
- Manage procurement activities through:
- CPPP Portal
- Government e-Marketplace (GeM)
Procurement & Documentation
- Scrutinize bid documents as per tender requirements.
- Maintain records related to:
- E-Tendering items
- Work Orders
- Contract Agreements
- Procurement files
Meeting & Event Coordination
- Coordinate pre-bid meetings.
- Arrange technical presentations.
- Maintain contract-related documentation.
SAP & Reporting Functions
- Create PR/PO documentation.
- Generate reports using SAP (MM Module).
- Provide administrative and office assistance.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the department head.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Full-time Graduate Degree from a recognized university.
Preferred Qualification
- Post Graduate Management Degree will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
